HarrisThe guys were invited to return to Huntington's Harris Riverfront Park, this time to greet passengers boarding the beautiful Belle of Cincinnati riverboat for an evening's charity cruse benefiting Hospice of Huntington. WSAZ-TV checked into the Ohio River Festival of Books opening night reception at Huntington's Big Sandy Superstore Arena where the Flood was playing for the opening night reception, March 7, 2008
WCHS-TV caught up with The Flood and The Chick Singer, Michelle Walker, at the first Charleston FestivALL celebration of the arts on June 25, 2005.
The Flood packed in at the Renaissance Arts Center (the old Huntington High School) one cold January Friday night in 2002 for a party to celebrate the release of the guys' first CD.
sOn June 7, 2003, the Flood was invited to help Huntington's famed Jim's restaurant celebrate its 65th year in business. Good times! ssssssssssssss
While helping out with the annual "Third House" show for the state legislature in 2002, the Flood got Gov. Bob Wise on stage to help out with some fancy footwork!
The Flood was on hand to help the Cabell County Public Library celebrate its 100th birthday on March 13, 2002.
Dave Lavender, writer/columnist with The Herald-Dispatch, had some especially kind words for the band as he announced the Arpil 14, 2003, CD release party.s
Long-time Floodster John Marra, Cabell County extension agent, surprised WSAZ-TV's Rob Johnson with a "kazoo challenge" that ran over two weeks in the spring of 2003.
